5 PRO.R18 Unter der Leitung des Firmengründers Renzo Rivoltas von Iso Motor Italien S.A. mit Sitz in Madrid wurden von der italienischen Iso Isetta etwa 1.000 Exemplare von 1953 bis 1959 gebaut. Als Grundgedanke bei der Entwicklung der Isetta galten die stetig steigende Parkplatzproblematik in den Großstädten sowie die immer größer werdende Nachfrage nach sparsamen Fahrzeugen. So entstand ein kugeliges Gefährt auf zwei Vorder- und einem Hinterrad, ausgestattet mit einem Einzylindermotor und einem Hubraum von 236 cm³. Als Ein- und Ausstieg diente eine sich nach vorne öffnende Türe, an die das Lenkrad und die spärlichen Bedienelemente montiert waren. Das kultige Gefährt gab es wahlweise auch als Pritschenwagen unter der Bezeichnung Isocarro. Schuco widmet dem Isocarro Pritschenwagen beladen mit Weinballons ein auf 250 Stück limitiertes Miniaturmodell im Maßstab 1:18 in der Linie PRO.R. Mit dieser Serie hat sich eine Kleinserienmodell-Linie aus „Resin“ etabliert, welche für außergewöhnliche und sehr filigrane Modelle steht. Dank diesem hochwertigen Modellbaukunststoff ist es möglich, sehr seltene und exotische Vorbildfahrzeuge in perfekter Qualität und mit nie dagewesenem Detailreichtum zu fertigen. Under the watchful eye of Renzo Rivolta, the founder of Iso Motor Italien S.A. based in Madrid, roughly 1,000 Italian Iso Isettas were manufactured between 1953 and 1959. The basic thought behind the development of the Isetta was the increasing lack of parking spaces in big cities and the growing demand for fuel efficient vehicles. The result was a bubble-shaped car on two front and one rear wheel, equipped with a 236cc, single-cylinder engine. The front door opened to the front with the steering column and sparsely equipped instrument panel swinging out with it. This cult car was also available as a flat bed truck known as the Isocarro. Schuco now presents a miniature PRO.R line model of the Isocarro flat bed truck in scale 1:18, loaded with wine demijohns and limited to 250 copies worldwide. This series has become established as a small series model line made of resin that stands for extraordinary and highly sophisticated models. Thanks to this top quality model-making material, it is possible to create extremely rare and exotic model vehicles in perfect quality and with never-before-seen precision.
